Worls Aids Day 2025
During late 2025 we worked alongside Jerrry Dawson to create Birmingham's 1st World Aids Dayflash-mob performance. Ni from the LIM created. the mixtape, curating with Jerry the song choices which formed the piefce. Spoken word/voiceover was then recorded at Misfit HQ and then the piece was choregrpahed . The performance received outstanding feedback from an audience of approximately 200. The wider online content received over 20,000 views indicating the need for this often hidden and taboo topic to be brought to the attention of our communities. FYI ...Jerry Dawson is a Birmingham based artist and producer with an extensive commercial and musical theatre dance background. In 2024 he founded “Art Thou OK Bab” with the aim of supporting and encouraging people and communities to explore their understanding of important social & community topics, such as the stigma associated with a HIV+ diagnosis. This is a pilot withthe ambition to devleop a larger piece with original music.
