This is a collaboration piece that saw us developing a musical narrative around the life and work of one of the most influential British Pre-Raphaelite painters, Evelyn Di Morgan. Commissioned by the hugely talented Sterran Dance, the music is genre bending, blending electronica with opera, cinematic motifs and of course some Misfit signature guitars and edgy beats. It is the start of this journey but already the performance feedback is incredibly positive. The brief was to create four very different but interwoven pieces of music. Taking references from nature and the work of the victorian painter, we are very proud of this one as it continues of collaborative work with dance companies and artists.
